Lance Will Not Stay Connected To The Spray Gun

When the lance will not stay connected to the spray gun or the lance blew off the spray gun when the trigger is squeezed one of the following…

1. The lance was not properly locked into the spray gun.
2. To lock the lance into the gun, compress the lance into the spray gun barrel about an 1/8 of inch, then turn the lance clockwise (to the right). The lance should be locked into place. If it is, it cannot be pulled out.
3. To remove the lance from the gun, compress the lance into the gun and turn the lance counter clockwise (to the left). The lance will slide out of the gun.
